The 1958 Ford Fairlane gained quad headlights and introduced the FE-series V8, with the new 332 rated at 240 or 265 hp gross and the 352 Interceptor Special at 300 hp gross. The three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic also debuted this year. Skyliner retractable output slipped to 14,713 cars in a recession market.
