1970 Ford Ranchero Specs & Photos
The 1970 Ford Ranchero received a longer, more curved restyle with the redesigned Torino, and Ford added the woodgrain Ranchero Squire trim. The big-block 429 Cobra Jet replaced the 428 as the top performance engine in the Ranchero GT, with the 250 inline-six, 302, and 351 also offered. All figures were SAE gross, the final years of gross ratings before the 1972 switch to net.
