Jaguar XJ6
1985 Jaguar XJ6 Specs & Photos
The 1985 Jaguar XJ6 is part of the Series 3 generation, launched in 1979 with flusher glazing and a raised roofline shaped with input from Pininfarina. It was powered by the 4.2 L XK inline-six, which by this point used Bosch/Lucas L-Jetronic electronic fuel injection in place of carburetors. The Series 3 was offered only as a four-door saloon, and United States cars used a Borg-Warner Model 66 three-speed automatic. US 4.2 L output was roughly 176 hp (net).
