Jeep Liberty

2002 Jeep Liberty Specs & Photos

The 2002 Jeep Liberty launched the KJ series as the North American replacement for the Cherokee XJ, built at the new Toledo North Assembly Plant in Ohio. It combined a unibody structure with independent front suspension, a coil-sprung solid rear axle, and the first rack-and-pinion steering fitted to a production Jeep. Sport and Limited trims offered a 150 horsepower 2.4-liter PowerTech four or the new 3.7-liter PowerTech V6 rated 210 horsepower, with Command-Trac part-time or Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel drive.
