I bought this load of equipment from a guy who to this day is the scummiest person I've ever done business with. I went just for the mower. The CL ad said it worked and mowed but the rear end was whining. It had a cracked grill, hacked wiring,no battery, a hole in the deck, and a worn and cracked frame which allowed the front wheel to hit the deck on sharp turns. I fixed it and sold it but then had to swap it for another mower due to reoccuring problems. The engine was swapped to another mower and it was used as a Halloween prop before being dismantled.
The PO lived in a filthy tiny house, there was a beat up junkyard grade dodge pickup in the front yard and his daily driver was just as bad. When he opened the hood to jumpstart the mower I noticed the wiring was held together with household wire nuts. He claimed to fix lawn equipment but knew nothing about carburetors. The craftsman 4 stroke weedeater had new fuel lines that were installed backwards. The Toro leaked fuel and the pullcord was way too short. The mower was a bad purchase, the rest was fine.
