Tuffy wanted me to send the cup holder back to them on my dime and they said they would re-paint it. That seemed like a hassle and I didn't feel like screwing around with packing and shipping, so I took care of it myself. Used my dremel and cleaned all the flaky paint and rust off, then hit it with a couple of coats of self-ethching primer. After letting that thoroughly dry, I used this left over rubber matting I had to cover the bottom. Some 3M heavy duty adhesive and voila..I think it came out pretty good. Tuffy probably should have done something like this in the first place.
