a somewhat better look at how the housing is mounted.

i have 2 strips of angle iron mounted to the original air filter mounting bracket. i then used some plastic straps running above and below to hold the housing in place yet allowing it to rotate as needed. the straps are held in by a couple wing nuts so i can easilly remove the filter assembly
