I had previously patched the green/yellow wire that rotted out in the 6-pin connector that Ford decided should be unsealed and submerged at the base of the driver's b-pillar, using vampire taps to bypass it temporarily. That in turn rotted out and fell apart when moving stuff around for this project, so I replaced the old connector with something proper...
