A newly installed starter motor bolted in place under the vehicle, its black case and cast nose housing still clean with a parts label attached and a red lead plus blue crimp connector wired to the solenoid. A rusty exhaust downpipe with an oxygen sensor screwed into it runs past the starter in the foreground.
