Here you can see the stock "dumby" sender above the oil filter to the left, with the wire going to the left (it is tan in color) The sender was not fun to remove, it was supposed to be sized for a 1" wrench, but was not. I ended up getting it off with a poor man's socket wrench (vise grips.)
