the dry fit of the pre87 shifter to a 90 xfercase.
this shifter has a much shorter linkage than the two 1356 shifters i have, it works and shifts. i dont know for sure yet whether the transmission adapter that i have is even the same as the one that is currently mounted to the e4od and 1356 that is in place now.
