0 An ATV Park maintained and enforced by members of ATV groups. Enforcement of non-motorized areas (i.e. keep ATVs OUT of salmon streams, wetlands and alpine areas). These areas are not suitable for motorized use. Let the ATV users manage themselves, it's to their advantage to maintain access and they will be less resistant if they are self- regulated. . Designate trail usage. Have explanation boards at trailheads - It seems that Alaska has enough land for trails for off-road vehicles and for nature lovers. They should each be protected. 0 No motorized use on some of the trails. - Restrict 4-wheelers. Prohibit them from high alpine area. Repair damage to trails. 0 Spring time trails should be closed. 0 Need some sort of trail management. Some trails may need to be closed and rehabilitated. Reroutes should take sustainable routes for a given type of use. Some trails may need to emphasize certain types of uses, 6. g. some can sustain all users, some wider trails for ATV users, single track for non-motorized users. Educate users. 0 Hardened bypasses alongside challenging parts of trails to prevent spread while allowing challenges. 0 Need to close Eska Creek Trail to motorizeduse to allow terrain to recover and revegetate. Designate Eska Creek Trail as hiking only too steep trail for motorized use. Separate motorized and nonmotorized use trails. Seasonal restriction - no motorized use until trails dry out. 0 Limit all RV use. Ideally have no motorized vehicles in this area. At least have no RV use before June 1 or after rains. Another suggestion is to limit RV use to only people with drivers licenses. - Please control and have bathroom and trash pickup. - Help user groups develop work and obtain grants in order to improve, expand and harden trails.
