Now the truck will be MUCH more reliable, and can use the cheaper, heavier-duty, more common ISO relays that are easier to swap. Tape up the harness & secure the relays to a safe mounting location. Not all relays have mounting tabs like these, but the sockets or harness can be zip-tied to something solid.

The connector below the relay sockets is the '88 DLC, and its storage shell is screwed to the cruise servo bracket. The round thing behind the relays is the '88 vacuum cruise servo. The yellow connector is the '88 EEC, which protrudes thru the firewall, just like it did in the '88 F150.
