Welded black bracket on a workbench next to a steering gear box

A freshly welded and black-painted fabricated bracket with two drilled mounting plates sits on a wooden bench, still wet with paint or oil and showing the weld beads at the tube joint. A cast steering gear box with a red plastic port plug and taped stub shaft is set alongside it, with red plastic tool cases in the background.
