I got the new overlays installed.
This is yet another custom bezel. This time I made sure to be careful around the vents so they wouldn't have to be refinished.

The vents look better this time, however the previous one I had installed had a better result on the areas I modified. This one has the correct curvature on the opening, however. Where as the last one had two peaks which made it just slightly off.

This was actually my fourth bezel attempt, but only the second I have installed / used.

I may try once more to get it perfect.
