This is the area that was getting wet. That sound insulation doesn't come out without removing the dashboard. It goes all the way up to the base of the windshield. BTW - Nice job at the factory placing that tarmac sound deadening. It is rotated 90° Clockwise and about 6 inches inboard from where it should be!
