DEI 528T Pulse Timer Wiring Diagram - Intake Heater Grid & Ford Starter Relay

This hand-drawn wiring diagram shows how to wire a DEI 528T pulse timer to control an intake heater grid (a "wait to start" glow/grid heater setup) using a 30 amp reversing-polarity relay and a Ford starter relay. The DEI 528T pulse timer's leads are labeled: orange lead not used, brown lead, yellow lead (connects to ignition 12+), blue loop left uncut, black w/stripe, black (to ground), and red (to 12+ constant power). The 30 amp relay's terminals are labeled 85, 87a, 86, 30, and 87. An LED wait-to-start light has a red lead and a black lead, with the black lead connected to ground.
