01lhf.jpg SOLD
1997 Chevy K3500 Silverado 205Kmi 4WD 1-ton dually

It doesn't smoke, shake, rattle, squeak, leak, pull, drift, or smell like diesel inside or out, running or stopped, even when accelerating hard. It doesn't stall, sputter, miss, or take more than 3 sec of cranking to start. The only smoke is when it's started ice-cold - just a brief white puff. It has very few modifications from factory, and most are so subtle they're not even noticeable:
1) An electric trailer brake controller was connected to the factory brake wiring, and a common 4-pin trailer connector is spliced to the factory 7-pin socket
2) hard plastic mud flaps are installed on the rear
3) Rhino lining under-the-rail (black)
4) a TriGlass camper shell (goes with the truck) painted to match is bolted to the stake pockets, with a GM reel light mounted above the liftgate
5) cargo tie-downs (6) from a Suburban were added to the bed
6) a 4-pin trailer connector is attached to the cab light so the LED cargo & brake lights on the camper can be connected easily, and they mimic the original lights on the cab
7) a 750W power inverter w/USB power is mounted under the seat and wired to a new megafuse under the hood
8 ) a new set of VentShades was installed Aug. 2011
9) a new lifetime-warranty FSD was relocated to a heat sink behind the grille
10) the FFM was raised 4 inches, and the fuel lines are routed above the intake
11) new Milton S400-6 tire valve extensions on all 4 rear tires are easy to swap during tire rotations
12) an idle speed switch (4 settings) was added to the dash
13) a pair of 55W lights are mounted in the rear bumper and wired into the reverse lights
14) a pair of 55W halogen lights have been added in the front bumper holes, with a lighted dash switch
15) a factory overhead console with HomeLink, & a factory dome lamp with swivelling map lamps have been added
16) an aftermarket reverse parking sensor system is installed in the rear bumper
17) the tailgate hinges have been silenced
18 ) new headlights in Sep. 2011
19) a locking fuel cap is installed
20) a pair of USB power jacks are installed in the dash
21) extendable visors with lighted vanity mirrors have been swapped, but the original visors are bagged under the seat
22) a new dash switch allows all the headlights to stay on when brights are selected
23) an identical used 105A alternator was added in the factory-optional location, wired the same way the factory offered, with the same size belt as the factory would have installed, so the truck now makes 210A

It has almost every option (see RPO codes in a later photo & caption), and everything still works just like new:
A/C
ABS
RKE
Interval wipers
Cruise control
Stereo cassette
Gauges & warning lights
Interior & exterior lights
All factory emissions systems
