I started with a '67 std bore, 428 PI block that was dated 6L28. There was no previous damage or repairs to block. It only had about .007" wall taper so I went with new SpeedPro forged .030" pistons, rebuilt C6AE-C rods & a new Scat 3.98" cast crank. Engine assembly date was 6M14.
