Just picked up a 79 D60 to one day replace my d44. Plan is to rebuild, go 5.13 gears and coil sprung instead of leaf sprung. Definitely going to take some time (and money) but here is the start. Yes the axle is upside down in oicture and got a sweet deal, 300 bucks!
