These guys spent 1800 miles bouncing around like that (they were really tied down to the rear seat mount) on the trip from Las Vegas to Louisiana on an 18 wheeler. When I got home and removed them I found out that the Sterling left a very noticeable impression on the floor... About 2" deep and the size of the diff cover.
