New Taurus before any work, and my old '88 Tempo.
Owner
Just hanging out and looking good.
Owner
Note the black third window. Guess that's my "signature" now -- did it to my Tempo too.
Owner
I love that Zymol shine!
Owner
Up close and personal . . . don't touch the paint job!
Owner
I think the front end cover adds a little personality and attitude.
Owner
Note the extra 24V DOHC badge.
Owner
A better look at my chrome dual exhaust.

Instrument cluster.

Panoramic of front seats/dash. I loooove my leather interior.
Owner
Panoramic of backseat. The fold-down seats look funny.
Owner
The trunk is like a bottomless pit.
Owner
1988 Tempo GL My first car, I owned it 6 years. 100k miles when I sold it.
Owner
This really was a Fix Or Repair Daily. In 6 years I spent as much on repairs as I did for the car!
Owner
UFO preparing for take-off.
Owner
UFO fly-by.
Owner
UFO moving away at high speed . . . wait a sec, that UFO has an Ohio license plate!
Owner
Taurus in alternate universe.
Owner
So you think the '98 Taurus looks like a space ship huh?
Owner
The Taurus is a muti-purpose vehicle.
Owner
Hmmm, I think thats a bad tranny mount.
Owner
TCCA sticker in my back window. Credit goes to Venom 800TT for this version of the official TCCA logo.

Stock Throttle Body (front)
Owner
Stock TB at WOT (wide open throttle)
Owner
After "Half-Shafting," looks nice too.
Owner
WOT after, what a difference!
Owner
Stock - 60mm, Modified nearly equal to 65mm
Owner
Stock MAF, tons of extra plastic!
Owner
Bored out MAF, MUCH better.
Owner
The back of the MAF.
Owner
Stock - 70mm, Modified equal to 80mm
Owner
I thought this would improve air flow through the box, plus perhaps improve air filter performance/life.
Owner
The stock air silencer. What a convoluted piece of crap!
Owner
This is why removing the air silencer can give 10 HP. That opening is only 44 mm, and restricts air by 30%!!
Owner
My new CAI. Just 3" dryer vent. (This is behind the fender)
Owner
CAI at the box. I cut the conector off the original, shoved the pipe over that, then used duct tape to seal the connection.
Owner
This is what I reused so I could attach the new CAI. I cut at the line.
