Intake manifold gasket install

Owner Don't forget to hook this back up Owner Took this picture to remember where the distributor was set at. There's my new TFI module also. Owner Distributor out. Look at how dirty everything is. Owner Fuel rails disconnected, one last look. Owner Lower intake manifold out Owner The gasket was almost nonexistent on the front of the motor! Owner YUK! More of that black junk in the intake passages on the head. Owner All cleaned up! Looks much better. Owner Clean valve covers with new gaskets. Owner Lower intake all spiffed up and ready to go back in. Owner New gaskets Owner Lower intake back in. Owner If you look close you can see that I put the thermostat in backwards. This really caused me grief. The truck overheated and I thought I wou… Owner Upper intake back in. Owner Cap and wires back on. Owner All done! Took 13 1/2 hours from start to finish.
