The NX wet kit finally went on, and we track-tested it with moderate success - a 50 shot dropped our times from 12.8 @ 105 to 12.1 @ 112! A 75 shot is coming up soon, followed by some unnatural aspirations  | 450.00 | 03/02/05 | Modification | 93510 | Dyno Results Are In! Finally took the car to the dyno, as it was long overdue. She surprised us nicely, pulling a best of 210.1 wheel HP (246 hp at the crank) and 184.7 wheel torque - not bad considering we started with 164 crank HP. The .471" cams moved peak HP from 5400 to 6100! Usually with stock cams there isn't much power to be had past 6700 rpm - with these cams, the car still makes 190 WHEEL hp @ 7300! Time to eliminate the stock fuel cut and bump the redline to 8,000
Most power was made @ 60psi fuel pressure, least @ 50 (intermediate @55) - this engine likes the fuel
Dyno sheets are in the albums, as are a few pictures. | 125.00 | 02/08/05 | Fuel | 93505 | What's next? Now that 12's all-motor is reality, a dyno session is the next step. Fuel pressure is still un-tuned, and there are too many naysayers that claim the car isn't making 200whp...dyno will tell
After that, a 3-gallon front mounted fuell cell, MSD external fuel pump, dual feed fuel system, all baided lines & Aeroquip fittings (blingage!), and some lighter rear wheels and we'll push her deeper in the 12s. A lexan windshield is in the works as well, and depending on price, a lighter steering colums + aluminum dash.
