The 1990 Acura Integra opened the second generation (DA hatchback and DB sedan chassis), replacing the pop-up headlights of the first generation with fixed projector headlamps. It used the B18A1 1.8L DOHC 16-valve inline-4 rated at 130 net horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Body styles were a 3-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan, offered in RS, LS, and GS trims. 1990 was the debut year for this platform, which carried through 1993.
