The 1998 Acura Integra was a third-generation model that received a revised front bumper and grille, the styling that distinguishes 1998-2001 cars from the earlier 1994-1997 front end. Engine offerings carried over: RS, LS, and GS with the B18B1 1.8L DOHC inline-4 at 142 net horsepower, the GS-R with the B18C1 1.8L DOHC VTEC at 170 net horsepower, and the Type R with the B18C5 1.8L DOHC VTEC at 195 net horsepower.
