The 1973 Chevrolet Cheyenne was an upper trim level of the third-generation C/K pickup, the Rounded Line body (commonly called the square body, built 1973 through 1987) that was all new for 1973. Cheyenne and Cheyenne Super sat above the base Custom Deluxe, offered across C10, C20, and C30 two-wheel-drive and K10 and K20 four-wheel-drive chassis in Fleetside and Stepside beds. Engine choices ran from the 250 and 292 cubic inch inline-sixes to the 307, 350, and 454 cubic inch V8s, with the 350 rated at 155 net horsepower and the 454 at 240 net horsepower. Three-speed and four-speed manuals and the Turbo-Hydramatic automatic were offered.
