The 1992 Chevrolet Lumina was a first-generation model on GM's front-wheel-drive W-body (GM10) platform, offered as a 2-door coupe and a 4-door sedan. The standard engine was the 3.1L LH0 V6 rated at 140 net horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, backed by a 3-speed or 4-speed automatic. The performance Z34 coupe and the Euro 3.4 used the 3.4L LQ1 DOHC V6 rated at 210 horsepower, with the Z34 available with a Getrag 5-speed manual.
