The 1993 Chevrolet Lumina was a carryover year in the first generation, built on GM's front-wheel-drive W-body platform as a 2-door coupe and a 4-door sedan. Its standard engine was the 3.1L LH0 V6 rated at 140 net horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 3-speed or 4-speed automatic. The 3.4L LQ1 DOHC V6 rated at 210 horsepower powered the Z34 coupe and the Euro 3.4 sedan. This was the penultimate year of the 1990-1994 first generation before the 1995 redesign.
