The 1974 Dodge Challenger was the final year of the first-generation E-body, with production ending in April 1974. It was sold only as a 2-door hardtop, powered by a standard 318 cubic inch (5.2L) V8 and a new 360 cubic inch (5.9L) V8 (245 hp net) that replaced the discontinued 340. Transmissions were a 3-speed manual, a 4-speed manual, and the TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic. The Rallye package carried over from 1973.
