The 2010 Dodge Challenger belongs to the third generation (LC platform) that revived the nameplate for 2008 on Chrysler's rear-wheel-drive architecture. It was built only as a 2-door coupe in SE, R/T, and SRT8 trims. The SE used a 3.5L V6 (250 hp), the R/T a 5.7L HEMI V8 (372 hp with the automatic, 376 hp with the manual), and the SRT8 a 6.1L HEMI V8 (425 hp). Transmissions were a 5-speed automatic and a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual, this year a carryover from the 2009 full-line launch.
