Ford Crown Victoria
1992 Ford Crown Victoria Specs & Photos
The 1992 Ford Crown Victoria introduced the aero redesign that dropped the LTD prefix and the station wagon, leaving a four-door sedan on the rear-wheel-drive, body-on-frame Panther platform. The 4.6L SOHC two-valve modular V8 replaced the pushrod Windsor V8s, rated about 190 horsepower with single exhaust and about 210 horsepower with the dual-exhaust high-output tune, paired with the AOD automatic. Four-wheel disc brakes were standard across the line, and a 1992-only Touring Sedan added police-derived suspension and a limited-slip axle.
The 1992 Ford Crown Victoria is part of the Aero Panther Crown Victoria generation (1992–1997). See the full Ford Crown Victoria 1992–1997 registry →
