Ford F-100
1972 Ford F-100 Specs & Photos
The 1972 Ford F-100 switched horsepower reporting to SAE net ratings, which read lower than the earlier gross figures. The 390 FE V8 was gone, leaving the 360 as the larger V8 above the 302 Windsor and the 240 and 300 sixes. The 1972 model year was the final year of the fifth-generation "Bumpside" Ford F-100 before the 1973 "Dentside" redesign.
The 1972 Ford F-100 is part of the Bumpside F-100 generation (1967-1972). See the full Ford F-100 1967-1972 registry →
