Ford F-250

1963 Ford F-250 Specs & Photos

The 1963 Ford F-250 was the three-quarter-ton model of the fourth-generation F-Series (1961-1966). It was the final year for Ford's integrated cab-and-bed Styleside body, offered on two-wheel-drive F-100 and F-250 pickups from 1961 to 1963 before Ford returned to a separate box for 1964. Engines were the standard 223 cu in (3.7 L) inline-six rated at 138 hp gross and an optional 292 cu in (4.8 L) Y-block V8 rated at 186 hp gross, with 3-speed or 4-speed manual transmissions. Twin I-Beam front suspension and the 240 and 300 sixes did not arrive until the 1965 update.
