The 1968 Ford F-250 added federally mandated side marker lights and revised the big-block range, dropping the 352 FE V8 and adding the 360 and 390 FE V8s alongside the 240 and 300 inline-sixes. Horsepower was still quoted in SAE gross terms. The 1968 F-250 4x4 continued to use a solid front axle.
