The 1978 Ford F-350 gained the new Lariat trim, and upper trim levels picked up rectangular headlamps in a revised grille. The 300 inline-six and the 351M and 400 V8s carried over. Dual-rear-wheel duallies and crew cabs covered the camper and towing work that defined the one-ton line.
