1994 GMC Sonoma Specs & Photos
The 1994 GMC Sonoma launched the second-generation S-truck line with a new body and chassis shared with the Chevrolet S-10. The base engine became a 2.2-liter four rated at 118 horsepower, with the 4.3-liter Vortec V6 optional and the enhanced central-port-injection version rated at 195 horsepower. The ZR2 Highrider off-road package debuted on 4x4 models, adding a widened track, 31-inch tires, Bilstein shocks, and a reinforced frame.
