1996 GMC Sonoma Specs & Photos
The 1996 GMC Sonoma added an optional driver-side third door to extended-cab models, opening access to the space behind the front seats. Engine choices remained the 2.2-liter four and the 4.3-liter Vortec V6, which moved to sequential fuel injection for 1996. The ZR2 Highrider off-road package continued on 4x4 models.
