The 1966 Lincoln Continental received the first major restyle of the fourth generation and added a two-door hardtop coupe alongside the sedan and four-door convertible. A new 462 cubic inch MEL V8 rated 340 gross horsepower replaced the 430. Curved side glass returned after two years of flat panes.
