p82a0088.jpg Moog balljoint

They are the most commonly used balljoints and very widely available. They are lifetime warranty and greasable. Problem is they are absolutely crap that never last long even in daily driving use.

They use a bunch of small parts that easily cause wear such as the small washers and rubber spring. Another problem is the ball has little surface area so it heavily relies on grease and will wear quicker with shock.

Im about as hard on a truck as you can be. between mudding, prerunning, jumping, and very aggressive driving I tend to wear out balljoints and wheel bearings very often. bearings are a different story but I would pretty much destroy balljoints ever few months. I almost always used Moog because I would warrenty them. after soo many times of warrentys, I was denied so I decided to try a different brand. The Napa Chassis have lasted 4x longer than the Moogs have and still show no wear at all.
