Hydraulic Line Layout Schematic - Piping Routing, Torque Specs & Assembly Notes
Service manual page showing a hydraulic line routing schematic with component callouts and a torque tightening specification table.
This document is a hydraulic line layout/assembly schematic showing the routing and installation of power-steering/hydraulic piping between a hydraulic housing, transmission housing, hydraulic pump, steering unit, block assembly, and radiator bracket area. Labeled components include Pressure Pipe A and B, Return Pipe A, Hose R, Hose C, eye bolts, seal washers, adapters, elbows, joints, unions, clamps, wire bands, O-rings, and a cushion. Assembly notes instruct applying oil to O-rings, keeping foreign material out of the hydraulic line, checking for oil leaks after assembly, installing the filter oil cartridge (clean mounting surface, oil the cartridge packing, tighten to 15–20 N·m / 11.07–14.76 lbft), and limiting the gap at the oil pressure pipe connection to 2 mm or less. A tightening-torque table keyed to asterisked part signs (*1 through *12) covers pump installation bolts/nuts (M8x1.25, 24.5–29.4 N·m), pipe installation bolts, union bolts (M16x1.5), unions and adapters (G3/8, G1/2, G1/4), 90° elbows, clamps, hose connections, and a φ12 'digging into' nut with temporary and final torque values. Two reference part numbers appear: 1044 1202 00 (holder bearing, #120-) and 1957 1203 00 (housing diff, #120-). A second isometric view shows the assembled hose bundle with the oil filter cartridge.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the torque spec for the pump installation bolt (M8x1.25)?
- 24.5 to 29.4 N·m (18.1 to 21.7 lbft), the same range as the pump installation nut (M8x1.25).
- How tight should the oil filter cartridge be installed?
- Tighten to 15 to 20 N·m (11.07 to 14.76 lbft), after cleaning the mounting side and applying oil to the cartridge packing for lubrication.
- What is the maximum permissible gap where the oil pressure pipe connects?
- The permissible value of the gap at the part where the oil pressure pipe is connected is 2 mm or less.
- What is the torque for the DIGGING INTO NUT (φ12)?
- Temporary tightening: 44~59 N·m (32.47 to 43.54 lbft); well set (final): 49~69 N·m (36.16 to 50.92 lbft).
- What precautions are given for assembling the hydraulic line?
- Apply oil to the O-ring, prevent anything except oil from getting into the hydraulic line, and confirm there is no oil leakage after assembly. The pipe slit direction must face upward.
