This is the biggest pain of the rebuilding job--replacing the snap ring on the direct drum. It is a PAIN as the ring likes to slip of the snap ring pliers before you get a chance to get it in the grove. Getting the piston down as far as you can go without having the compressor fly out on you is key (that is why I have a Band-Aid on in later pictures, it happened to me)
