this is a shot of the inside of the C6 transmission in my bronco…

this is a shot of the inside of the C6 transmission in my bronco after i first dropped the pan. this shot is from laying under the vehicle, lookin up on the driver's side of the transmission. the front of the vehicle is towards the top left corner of the photo. the valve body is on the left middle of the photo. what i wanted to get a picture of is the planetary shell, which is in the top middle of the photo. it appears to have a little rust on it, indicating that the water in the transmission did some damage to it. at the time of this writing, i am not sure if the transmission will still work or not. i will find out once i get the new motor put in. also note the glob of slime hanging from the filter screen in middle left of the photo. this is the same slime that was in the bottom of the pan.
