a shot of the distributor gear that was in the new motor. by my best guess, this is a steel gear. the area around the roll pin appears smoother than the pictures ive seen of cast iron gears. ill compare this to the distributor that is in the old motor, which is most likely a cast iron gear since that motor is not roller ready.
