This is a closer shot of the front mounting location. While this is not the only mounting location (there are 4), this will aid in the stability of the slider in addition to removing any possibility of the sliders bouncing against the front and rear of the truck under conditions that might cause them to have a different simple harmonic motion than the rest of the truck--like having unbalanced tires for example.
