trying to do a field repair so i can at least limp to a pavement where i can have the truck towed, i removed both intake and exhaust rockers and pushrods for cylinder 2 as well as disconnecting the injector and spark plug to make it a dead cylinder. was hoping on 7 cylinders i can make it to pavement

the engine actually ran smoothly for awhile but made a HORRIBLE noise. i assume the lifters both bouncing up and down with no resistance and probably hitting the cylinder head.

however it did eventually have the engine sieze up for some reason. it freed up but then had a broken timing chain or camshaft.

had a truck pull me to pavement so i could get it towed home
