this is the new Ford e-locker used in 2011 10.5" Sterling axles. part number is BC3Z-4026-B and can be had around $500 if you know where to look.

it is installed with 5.13 Dana SVL gears and a Yukon crush sleeve eliminator

i will drill a small hole in the case for the wiring and then RTV the hole up to prevent leaks.

the tone ring for the VSS will fit on the 10.5" e-locker but there is no cutout for the notch. either need a notch ground into the carrier or the tab of the tone ring needs to be ground off. it is press fit so i choose to grind tab off
