The old t'stat seems to have been working, so I'm reusing it. It's not difficult or expensive to swap when it fails. The gasket is the same for the smallblock V8s. I sandblasted & painted the (chinese) outlet & (original?) ECT nipple inside & out with DupliColor ceramic engine paint.
