Skyjacker Dual Steering Stablizer. Ok with stock suspension but…

Skyjacker Dual Steering Stablizer. Ok with stock suspension but not long enough for a 6" kit. Their suggestion t ge the shocks at a better angle is to move the bracket down on the frame and weld. Instead of all of that, Why not just make the bracket 6" longer???
