the ram i plan on using. My axle has about 9 1/4" travel from lock to lock on the steering. This ram is 8 3/4", which is very close, most rams you buy are only 8", so this should work nicley. It may not be double ended, but it will work just fine. Its the same ram i run on the front of my Zuk. used of a John deere 7700 combine. Each is $50 used, and replacement parts are widely available. Also uses tie rod ends so there is no slop in the steering.
